James was interviewed about the QEH campaign after he raised the issue in Parliament and spoke to the Prime Minister about frustration locally at delays in a decision.
During an interview, James explained that in the first week back in Parliament he had made the case once again to the Health Secretary in the House of Commons who had underlined the seriousness with which he takes the issue and that he wants to sort it. James also spoke about the government's plans to standardise designs to reduce costs and deliver benefits in terms of faster build times.
