Following media coverage of the issues the 1500 props are causing at QEH, James was interviewed on BBC Look East calling for a decision on the new hospitals to be made as soon as possible.
James campaigned successfully in Parliament with strong local support to get a commitment to a new QEH by 2030. Plans are moving ahead with the helipad being relocated, enabling work to start this year on the new car park to free up space for the new hospital.
