North West Norfolk was host to some of the Coronation celebrations that took place over the bank holiday weekend
To celebrate the Coronation last weekend, North West Norfolk hosted a variety of activities and events. These spread across the whole constituency, with each event promoting community spirit.
Live screenings of the Coronation were available in both King's Lynn and Hunstanton, with crowds forming to watch the historic occasion. This was followed by entertainment for all ages and picnics. Elsewhere, events included Coronation afternoon tea, local cricket matches, village hall events and infamous street parties to mark the occasion.
During the weekend, James Wild MP took part in a Coronation park run in Sandringham, which was followed by crowds enjoying a picnic as they awaited Coronation coverage. On Sunday, James visited North Wootton Village Hall which hosted a 'Coronation Big Lunch' including food, music and face painting. He also took part in a Royal competition at the Snettisham picnic on the field.
