James Wild MP visits Tenacity Interiors creating handmake bespoke furniture in North West Norfolk
Started 22 years ago, Tenacity Interiors is a growing local business specialising in high-quality bespoke handmade furniture. Based in Great Massingham, James was keen to visit the business to learn more about the day-to-day running of the company alongside its craftsmanship, quality, and knowledge.
Tucked into the Norfolk countryside, James learned how Tenacity Interiors produces handmade bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen furniture. Whilst touring the workshop, James was able to watch one of the carpenters finalising a wardrobe set and learn more about the craftmanship from initial design to the finished furniture item.
The firms owners Steve Dawson and Karl Andrews are traditionally trained cabinet makers who have built up the business into a successful local employers offering skilled roles and are looking to expand. As well as the business, James discussed the challenge of energy costs as well as apprenticeships.
Commenting on the visit, James said:
“Small businesses are essential to the success of our local economy and creating jobs and I am keen to help support firms to grow. Tenacity Interiors is a great example of the high quality craftmanship that exists in businesses across North West Norfolk.”
Speaking about the visit, Steve said:
“It was great to meet James and show him around our premise of Tenacity Interiors in Great Massingham, we discussed and went through how our business operates.”
