James joined the Jobcentre Plus' Hospitality Fair in the new Broad Street jobcentre in King's Lynn to talk to local people and employers about the opportunity to start careers in the hospitality sector.
This fair was being held as part of the new Way to Work campaign to help 500,000 jobseekers into work by the end of June. Around 150 people were registered to attend and in a sign of the appetite to take people on interviews were even taking place on the spot
Building on the KickStart scheme that focus on younger people most at risk of missing out on a job, there is a renewed focus on helping people in North West Norfolk on unemployment benefits into roles. Further events are planned covering other sectors. If any businesses are interested, then please contact James.
