North West Norfolk rembered those who lost their lives in the 1953 floods with events in Hunstanton, Snettisham, and Lynn.
On Sunday James joined the Mayors of Hunstanton and King’s Lynn and West Norfolk and many others for a very moving service in #Hunstanton to mark the 70th anniversary of the 1953 floods and remember the 31 lives lost including many American citizens, their families, those who rescued others & survivors.
After Hunstanton James was pleased to be able to join David Bocking and others at Snettisham memorial hall to see the exhibition and then see the memorial where tributes were laid at a service to the 25 people who lost their lives.
On Tuesday a service was held at the Minster in Lynn.
