Along with King’s Lynn and West Norfolk Borough Council Leader Stuart Dark, James met the Health Secretary Steve Barclay to push for an urgent announcement on adding QEH to the new hospitals programme.
James said:
This meeting was an important opportunity to underline to the Health Secretary with Cllr Stuart Dark the strong local support for the QEH to be included in the new hospitals programme and to welcome the Health Secretary’s priority to fix the RAAC issues. We underlined the need for an urgent decision to include QEH in the new hospitals programme to ensure we get the new hospital that patients and staff need. The campaign continues."
