Last Saturday (25th March 2023), James Wild MP took part in an organised litter pick as part of the Great British Spring Clean.
James Wild MP, last week took part in an organised litter pick in Roydon, King's Lynn, collecting nearly two bags worth of litter in just under an hour. Items found on the litter pick include a covid face mask, an old Pepsi can and a can of deodorant, alongside others. Over 60 volunteers turned up to litter pick in the area, organised by Roydon and Grimston parish councils.
A video of James at the litter pick is attached. Discussing the findings James commented:
It's depressing that people throw things out of the window, so play your part, do your bit, to make our area look it's best and bin your rubbish
This coincides with James recent launch of his litter survey, which can be found here: Litter Survey | James Wild. By completing the survey, it is a great way to share your opinion on litter in North West Norfolk and help tackle the issue. James is keen to hear from as many people as possible on how their local areas may be affected by litter and fly-tipping.
