On the 2nd of April, James Wild MP took part in the Hunstanton Soapbox race, to raise money for Hunstanton RNLI
Alongside Cllr Stuart Dark and Charles le Strange Meakin, James was part of the winning team. This award came from two successful runs along the Hunstanton track. Notably, the first run was completed with speeds of 42mph, the fastest of the day.
Following the success of the first run, James took to driving for the second run, with no incidents reported and a quick lap time. The track included a steep initial sloop to build momentum, followed by a tight chicane which drivers needed to navigate followed by a further drive to the finish line.
