A festival of events celebrating the remarkable history of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk is to be held over half term (22nd October- 1st November 2020).
Organised by True’s Yard Museum and the Heritage Learning Forum, the festival will bring local history to live through crafts, talks, walks, seminars and more.
From self-guided tours of King's Lynn Minster, to craft sessions at True Yard's Fisherfolk Museum and a whole series of Nelson-inspired activities organised by Stories of Lynn on Saturday Market Place, there will be more than enough to keep us all entertained through half-term.
Welcoming the festival, James said -
"We have a fantastically rich history in our corner of England, full of tales of sea-faring bravery, magical mystery and civic duty.
As we celebrate our local hero, Horatio Nelson, on Trafalgar Day this Wednesday 21st October, I am delighted that that local stories and fascinating personalities are being brought to life."
Don't forget to book in advance as some activities are ticketed in order to comply with social distancing requirements.
