During a Public Accounts Committee hearing, James raised concerns with the Environment Agency and Defra about flood defences and North West Norfolk.
James highlighted the success of the East Wash Community Interest Company recharge and recycle scheme at Snettisham, he asked about measures to protect homes as well as businesses, he raised the King’s Lynn defences which he saw put into practice as part of a winter readiness event, and the need to ensure high quality agricultural land was also protected.
