Rt. Hon Matt Hancock, the Health Secretary thanks vaccination teams across North West Norfolk in the fight against the pandemic.
James was delighted to receive a special thank you message from the Rt Hon Matt Hancock, the Health Secretary thanking the NHS and volunteers involved in the vaccine rollout across North West Norfolk.
The Health Secretary paid tribute to the work of the team at St James Medical Practice, Snettisham Surgery, QEH, and Alive Corn Exchange who have been leading the vaccination rollout in North West Norfolk commending them for the huge effort made and spirit they have shown.
Speaking Rt Hon Matt Hancock said, "I want to say a massive thank you to everybody in North West Norfolk who's working so hard to get the vaccine rollout. It's been an incredible effort, a third of people have been vaccinated already and we are now able to open up the vaccinations to those who are over 60. In particular, I want to thank everybody at the St James Medical Practice, at Snettisham Surgery, and the QEH of course in King's Lynn, and the vaccination centre at the Corn Exchange. It's been a huge effort with the NHS in the lead with the countless volunteers who have come forward to help, often standing in the cold in the car park, and the spirit that we've seen has been incredible. I want to shout out to James Wild the local MP who's been helping so much to get the message out that getting a vaccine is good for you, it's good for your local community because it helps to reduce the spread, and of course it helps all of us to get out of this pandemic. So thank you to everybody across North West Norfolk who've been working so hard to make this happen, made huge amounts of progress, a lot still to do but we're on the road to recovery."
