New local data shows that as of 28 February 39,587 people in North West Norfolk have received their first vaccine.
The figures show:
- 6,924 over 80 year olds have had their first dose.
- 5,232 75-79 year olds have had their first dose.
- 6,721 70-74 year olds have had their first dose.
- 5,509 65-69 year olds have had their first doses
- 15,201 under 65 year olds have had their first dose
Across Norfolk and Waveney 384,186 people have had 1st jab
Commenting James said, "The Health Secretary this week congratulated everybody involved in the impressive rollout of the vaccination programme in North West Norfolk. With the first step on the roadmap to ease restrictions on Monday now we need the continued success of this programme to protect people and reduce hospitalisations and deaths."
