New Local data shows that as of 7 March 42,647 people in North West Norfolk have received their first vaccine.
The figures show:
- 6,903 over 80 year olds have had their first dose.
- 5,248 75-79 year olds have had their first dose.
- 6,745 70-74 year olds have had their first dose.
- 5,795 65-69 year olds have had their first dose.
- 4,743 60-64 year olds have had their first dose.
- 13,213 under 60 year olds have had their first dose
Norfolk County Council have launched a campaign asking for carers to register by 31 March 2021 who are entitled for a vaccine
.
Eligible carers include:
- anyone who is the sole or primary carer of an older or disabled person who is clinically vulnerable to COVID-19
- parents or primary carers of children and young people who are disabled and clinically vulnerable to COVID-19
- young carers (aged 16 or over) of people who are elderly or clinically vulnerable, and
- people caring for someone with severe mental illness
- People can register as a carer online here: http://apps.norfolk.gov.uk/carervax. Or if they are unable to register online, a 24/7 voicemail service is available for people to leave their contact details: 01603 257256.
